Wedding colors and reception decoration?
I've finally decided that I want fuscia, orange and kiwi as my colors for my wedding. Its a beach wedding so the bold colors will give it an island tropical feel. But the room is decorated in maroon/burgundy-esque and gold. the drapes around the windows are the dark burgundy-ish with accents of gold. Its a lovely room but I've been told that I can't change any of the drapes. How can I tell if my colors will work in that room? Please help!

my colors are fuschia and tangerine and the wedding venue i picked has burgundyish drapes with goldish/creme accents. the carpet is burgundy, yellow and green!!!!!
it really depends on how you make it work.
my thing is, im having an evening wedding so lights will be dim in the room where everything is taking place. a lot of people wont be paying attention to the venue and would be more paying attention to you and your wedding party.
if you can decorate the place, try using tons of white linen and your color scheme.once people are eating and dancing, they will forget what color scheme the venue was.
this was the only solution i could really come up with for my situation because honestly, theres no way we're gonna find a venue that has fushcia and tangerine walls. lol although, i wish there was!! lol
