In Romeo and Juliet would the Nurse be considered a peasant ? Would she dress like a peasant?

Although the Nurse in a Renaissance-era Italian household of the affluence of the Montagues or Capulets might come from peasant stock, or working-class city people, the family would never allow her to dress like a peasant.
In this era the people in service to a great family wore livery in the family's colors, perhaps also with a symbol from the heraldry of that family.
Juliet's nurse, especially, would not be allowed to wear the garb of a peasant, because that would imply that the family was unable to adequately provide for their employee. If not in some kind of livery, Nurse would be dressed plainly but well, so that a stranger seeing her would understand that she was the retainer of a great family and that she was held in highest esteem by that family.
In the play it is obvious that Nurse is considered close to being actual family. The most authentic costuming would have her dressed well, but in serious and somber colors --almost like a nun-- to indicate her level of responsibility and to differentiate her from actual family.
