most ideas for this costume (hippie)?
heyy. well for school tomorrow, im gonna be a hippie, cause my costume for tomorrow night is inappropriate.
but my only ideas for it is jeans, a tye dye shirt, a headband, pigtails, and a long heart or peace necklace
any more ideas? i need stuff i can find around the house considering halloween is TOMORROW.
so. help pleaseee
and ideas for makeup too?
oh and ps. im in grade 10. with brown hair, 5'7", and brown eyes. with a pretty slim body, and small curves
as far as your hair is concerned, skip the pigtails. part your hair down the middle and wet-set your hair on flexi-rods for goddess curls (think Sarah Jessica Parker)
as far as makeup is concerned, don't wear any. hippies were not big fans of makeup. instead, purchased a red face paint marker and draw a peace side on your left cheek
make sure your jeans are bell bottoms. if you are going to put the curls in your hair, the bigger the better, so fluff it out with your fingers and a volume spray
no pearl or heart necklaces. hippies were about peace and love, true but that is just too cutesy. hippies were rebels in their own right. hang a peace sign around your neck
rose colored glasses would not hurt
make sure that the headband is super thin or braid a small section from the left or right side of your head across your forehead. use that as a braided band.
remember, hippies were natural. the more natural you are, the better.
