What kind of ball dress/evening dress would suit a rectangular body shape?
Like a prom dress. Meaning what type of dress would make a straight up straight down body person - little to no waist, slim legs, slim arms, look nice and flatter them?
You would want to find a dress that creates curves, wear something that shows off your body, not something that hides it!
try a dress with a cinched waist, v neck- or scoop neck top part, or a halter top, and look for a chiffon dress with a corset/tight type- top. and a full skirt instead of one that just goes straight down like a pencil skirt.
if you have a really small frame, you'd probably want a short dress (above knees) instead of a long down-to-the-floor dress, since a long dress with overwhelm your small frame.
so while youre looking for dresses, don't be afraid to try stuff on! just pick out a lot of dresses you like, maybe you like the color, or you like the style, just try on a BUNCH and see if it looks good on you! you won;t know until you try it on:)
also, while shopping just look for stuff that creates curves, like with a full skirt, and a waist-y thing. and definitely NOT a tube-dress, a maxi dress, or a dress that just goes straight up and down with no cinching or anything at all.
and most importantly, no matter what kind of dress you get, just be confident in it and dont keep thinking you look bad in it or anything, cause im sure you dont!:D
