Is it safe to dye these dresses?
I'm having a wedding in which there will be two flowergirls. Each dress looks the same but one is white and one is ivory. The white dress is 100% polyester with a lace over the bodice. The ivory dress is nylon, rayon, polyster and actetate with lace over the bodice. They are both dry clean only. Is there anyway I can dye these dresses a burgundy color or lighten the ivory to white?
If you have not professional guide to dye clothing , you are going to destroy them. Be careful, synthetic fabrics are difficult to dye because they need strong chemicals.
If both garments are for dry clean only, do it.
Maybe you are thinking that you are saving, but not.
