Is it ok to wear some black for a day summer wedding?
I have a beautiful maxi dress that has a black background and a flower pattern fabric (many colors, not too bright). Is it appropriate to use it for a summer wedding in the afternoon? and what shoes should I wear? The wedding is not too formal and outdoors. I am foreign and not very familiar with American rules for dressing to these events! Thanks.

1. wearing white
2. dressing too casual ( jeans and t shirt)
3. dressing to provocative
Remember it's the bride's day and your invited to share in this life changing event. Dress appropriate but not to garner to much attention. It's just being respectful of the bride and groom on their special day...
