Semi-formal homecoming dress help?
Now I have a question.
I'm a freshman and I'm going to my first homecoming in exactly a week. Yes, I have a date, and I want to look nice. I don't really want to look nice for my date ((I know he'll like whatever I wear, he'll just be happy to be with me)), I just want to look nice so I feel confident.
Point is, I have two dress options and I want to know which will sound better for a semi-formal dance.
A white, sweetheart cut, empire wait dess with a chiffon overlay on a white slip. It has gold beaded designs at the bottom and a bow in the middle of the empire waist. I have gold shoes and a gold hair flower to go with it.
OR
An all black lace dress with a tan slip. It's empire waisted and thin strapped with an emma neck line, but I might sew some elastic on so it's strapless. I have black strappy heels and a little flower necklace to go with it.
