How to dress artsy going into high school?
For the past 3 years I've dresses remotely preppy....like about 75%....but now im going into high school and i kinda wanna change my look....not too much.... but dress artsy...not a hippie or anything! but like with vests...like a music kid! (thats wat i am) Kind of sophisticated but with a spalsh of color and originality....HELP!!!!
btw! im not changin to please ppl! im changin to please me! i just want to know how to do it! cuz i like alot of dif styles..
When i think artsy i think bohemian mixed with preppy i think about flowy sheer fabrics.. i think about lace i think about organic, i think about vintage,, bohmian style express the free spirited qualities that most artists have.. i think blazers with pins and broaches... lots of layers, vests with scarfs i think of art deco.but honestly artsy ppl don't really dress artsy on purpose its just a reflection of their creative trade, it happens naturally... so let your musical inspiration dress u ... they don't just do it for appearance...if you're into classic music then draw inspirations from the fashion of that era... artists don't over think things they just go with the flow they dress to express not to impress... go to a thrift shop or a vintage store and buy accessories such as scarfs and ties hats and see how u can put it together...your an artist and u have to express your personal style cause thats what artists do they don't look thru magazines and copy
