Intro paragraph on the invisible man.?
Any suggestions on this point ... (The intro) I think I should change my thesis ... but all suggestions are appreciated. thank you! A recurring motif in The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison's vision, many people are blind to what they do not look past the outside. Because of the blindness, the narrator takes the title of the invisible man who lives the life of an African-American through the 1930s in New York. Like other victims of discrimination, the invisible man is attempting to remove the blindfolds superior individuals in society and "become convinced that it exists in the real world and trying to [...] fury others recognize its existence" (Glicksburg 48). In The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison's vision is a key element to understand the depth of being an African-American man through the years 1930 in New York.
All is good even if I have learned not to start a sentence with "because". Just bad English. I do not know why but I personally think it's appropriate.
